MDI Marathon-
Evie KA1BRA was asked to contact Gary Allen to find out if
amateur help is needed for the Marathon this year. Evie will get back to Chris
with the information.
LATE NOTE: The MDI Marathon organizers do plan on amateur radio help again this year. I have a family commitment and cannot attend. We also have two hams who usually help, but have medical issues that might prevent them from helping this year. If you are able to help, please contact Chris AB1PZ at ohno5below@hotmail.com. The Marathon is Sunday October 16 and will be busier than usual since it's the 100th Acadia Anniversary. If you can even help for a short while, do contact Chris or Evie eviesargent@yahoo.com.
Meadow View Antennas - Dick W1KRP mentioned that there was an inspection at
Meadow View and something had to be done about the dangling antenna soon. Chris
AB1PZ set this coming Sunday at 1:00 PM to see what needs to be replaced or
repaired. The antenna may not be repairable. Chris will bring a ladder and Mark
N1MEA will also be there to help. Other helping hands are most welcome!
Rob W8HAP made a motion to adjourn
the business meeting. The motion was seconded by Mark N1MEA. So done at 7:12
PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Evie Sargent KA1BRA,
Treasurer/Secretary
